Default Hero: Cecelia

Hello, I am Melanie Tessmer, a nineteen year-old college student with an incurable drawing habit. I've been drawing Default Hero: Cecelia for quite some time now *cough*three and a half years*cough*cough* and having at least two years worth material for a Monday-Wednesday-Friday webcomic, or quite possibly an Every Single Freaking Day one, I've finally caved into my family's insistent suggestions of that I should put it on the web instead of just filling sketchbook after sketchbook with story and hoarding them all on a shelf in my bookcase. That shelf currently holds Thirty-two sketchbooks, 21 of which contain the current story. I just started on the 22nd. My record for filling one of those babies up is 19 days.

Outside of drawing, I have other hobbies such as wildlife photography and playing video games that I never seem to finish. I enjoy most music provided that it was either made from 1957 to 1974, in foreign language, or is a well-made remix of a video game theme. If that seems weird, just blame my brothers.

If you are wondering why this comic is done completely in pencil and not inked or done with a tablet like most webcomics, the reason is simple and two-part: "I do not own a tablet and they cost a whole bunch" and "My hands are too shaky to draw with a pen except for special occasions." I have no idea why my hands shake so much.

About the "Muzzy Slink" thing, Muzzy is the basic username that I go by on the Internet. If you see a Muzzy Slink on the net, it's probably me.
